Our Mission
- To develop a vaccine against an infectious disease in a short period of time to combat against epidemics and pandemics.
- To organize Vaccine R&D activities in basic and applied fields within the framework of a central organization.
- To strengthen the relations between the existing research laboratories, departments, research-application centers working on vaccines within the university and outside the university, and to create a platform to improve their research capabilities.
- To provide the infrastructure that is seen as a common need in vaccine R&D activities.
- To open education programs for associate, undergraduate and graduate students, to create, organize and carry out vocational qualification programs.
- To determine the priority areas of our university and the regional industry in terms of Vaccine R&D activities by carrying out strategic studies, and to create a partnership network in order to participate in internationally supported projects.
- To create a competitive, creative and productive research environment.
- To assist in the organization and execution of the dissemination events of the institutions/organizations that support the Center, to seek investors for the patenting and licensing of ideas from our university.
- Organizing national and international scientific meetings such as seminars, courses, conferences, symposiums, workshops, colloquiums and congresses on the subjects that fall within the scope of the center's work.
- To encourage projects and research that will contribute to regional development.
- To strengthen University-Industry cooperation, to implement new projects, to accelerate the transfer of applicable results to the industry.
- To ensure coordination with industrial organizations requesting research by making use of the central infrastructure.
- To reach a level that can fully meet the accredited test-analysis needs of industrial organizations.
